The soaps are made with coconut oil, vitamin e, and other moisturizing and cleansing ingredients and contain 30% glycerin. Glycerin is a humectant which helps your skin retain moisture.

You might wonder about the history of their name "Backyard Soaps" is a celebration of tradition and days gone by - many years ago - soap was made in the "backyard". Well, Backyard Soaps & More has outgrown their backyard, garages, and first warehouse: In October 2004 they moved to a new space in the heart of downtown Port Huron that serves as their factory and retail store.
